Holy Communion, also called the Eucharist and Blessed Sacrament, is the sacrament (the third of Christian initiation, the one that the Catechism of the Catholic Church says "completes Christian initiation") by which Catholics partake of the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ and participate in his one sacrifice. The Sacrament of Holy Eucharist is celebrated at different times and ages. Usually, the process begins at the age 7yrs. Preparation for this Sacrament has a requirement of at least two years.

Youth High School Confirmation

(ages 14+)

Confirmation (together with Baptism and Eucharist) tells us that God wants each and every one of us to belong—first of all, to God! Confirmation also tells us that our purpose in life is to know, love and serve God in all kinds of ways, but especially through one another. In this Sacrament, as in Baptism, we are anointed for service. This process begins at the age of 14yrs for teenagers ready to confirm their Catholic identity and the teachings of the Catholic church. Preparation of this sacrament has a requirement of two years.

OCIA - Order of Initiation for Adults - Adult Baptism, Communion & Confirmation

To be fully initiated as a Catholic a person must be baptized, receive first communion, and be confirmed. These three (Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation) are called “Sacraments of Initiation”. The church has many ways for adults to complete initiation, depending on circumstances of your own faith journey.
