Eucharist/Communion

We are a EUCHARISTIC PEOPLE

We are a Eucharistic people – a Eucharistic Church. The Eucharist, the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, is the center of our faith and, by extension, our lives.

"At the time he was betrayed and entered willingly into his Passion, he took bread and, giving thanks, broke it, and gave it to his disciples, and said take this, all of you, and eat of it, for this is my Body, which will be given up for you. Do this is remembrance of me." ~ 1 Corinthians 11:23-24 (Eucharistic Prayer II)

ANIMA CHRISTI

Soul of Christ, sanctify me. Body of Christ, save me, Blood of Christ, inebriate me,
water from the side of Christ, wash me. Passion of Christ, strengthen me O Good Jesus, hear me within your wounds hide me permit me not to be separated from you. From the wicked foe, defend me at the hour of my death, call me and bid me come to you that with your saints I may praise you for ever and ever. Amen
